Our exhibit at the SICB 2025 conference earlier this year was a success! The SICB conference (the annual meeting of the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology) brings together thousands of biologists from across the world and from diverse disciplines (biomechanics, evolutionary biology, evolutionary developmental biology, physiology, paleontology, plant biology, etc.). The conference is held at the beginning of January and this year it was in Atlanta, Georgia.
We had over 70 attendees stop by our booth over the four days of the conference to check out our Shark Skull Active Learning Kit and to give input on a prototype of next product. It’s not often that you see a business bring prototypes of their next product to a conference or trade show, maybe because they’re afraid to show a product in progress or that someone else will steal their idea. We think this is a missed opportunity to get critical feedback from customers on a product while it’s still in development (and thus easier to change).
Our customers gave us phenomenal feedback on the prototypes that we brought along that we’re already implementing in the design of our next product.
